This compelling documentary explores the life and work California artist Emile Norman. Through archival footage, interviews, and stunning visuals of his art, the film reveals how Normans passion for creativity, nature, freedom, and self expression sustained him through seven decades of artistic evolution and social change. 

A beloved figure in Carmel and Big Sur, Emile – often recognized by his purple Converse tennis shoes and signature beret—was a devoted supporter of the Carmel Bach Festival and rarely missed a performance.
